The term, adhesion contract, comes under the legal element of status of beings or things. In this case, adhesion contract describes a type of contract, usually a form contract which is prepared by one party. Adhesion contracts are very common with consumer goods and services offered on a take-it-or-leave-it basis. One party has little or no choice about the terms. Adhesion contracts are characterized by an inequality of bargaining power.
