reformation, defined:

an action of the court to correct a written contract in instances of mutual mistake or misrepresentation. A reformation is done in the interest of justice, rewriting the contract to reflect the true intentions of the parties.

reformation, as it might be used:

The auction winner sought reformation of the contract price according to law which prevents a seller from secretly bidding on his own goods.
